Te Tau Hou Māori Sunset Cruise

We will welcome you onboard our luxury yacht, Serenity, at 4 pm and set sail on a scenic cruise of the inner Bay of Islands, all whilst we treat you to sundowners and canapés. Once the sun has set, we drop anchor a short distance off the coast of Paihia in time to take up the best seats in the house so that you can view the impressive Te Tau Hou Māori Puanga Matariki Celebrations. After the show is over, we return to Paihia Wharf at approx. 7:30 pm, where the festive evening continues. The purchase of a Te Tau Hou Māori Sunset Cruise also includes free entry into the Puanga Matariki Party on the Dock at Zane Grey’s (valued at $40).

Event-Specific Cancellation Policy:
If the weather dictates that Te Tau Hou Māori Puanga Matariki Celebrations are postponed then Te Tau Hou Māori Sunset Cruise tickets are automatically transferred to this new date.

If the weather exceeds the safe operating limits set by Silver Wave Yacht Charters or if the Te Tau Hou Māori Puanga Matariki Celebrations are cancelled, then a refund of the full ticket price will be provided.
